Advanced Obedience — Level 1
For dogs 7 months and up | Maximum 5 dogs | $160 per dog
Ready to take your dog’s training beyond the basics?
Our Advanced Obedience – Level 1 course is designed for dogs who already have some foundation skills and are ready to build greater reliability, focus, and control around real-world distractions. This course strengthens obedience through duration, distance, and distraction, helping your dog respond more consistently when it matters most.
Over three weekly 60-minute sessions, you and your dog will work on:
• Improving handler focus around increasing distractions
• Building duration and distance in stationary behaviours such as sit, down, and settle
• Strengthening calm, thoughtful responses rather than rushed or impulsive behaviour
• Developing clearer communication using force-free, reward-based training principles
With classes limited to just four dogs, you’ll receive individual coaching while still benefiting from a carefully managed group training environment.
This course is ideal as the next step after puppy school or basic obedience training. Dogs must be comfortable working in a group setting and not display reactive behaviour, as reactive dogs are generally better supported through private training or a dedicated reactivity workshop.
Advanced Obedience – Level 1 provides the foundation for continued progress, with a Level 2 course available in the future for teams ready to advance even further.
Advanced Recall
For dogs 7 months and up | Maximum 5 dogs | $160 per dog
Recall is one of the most important — and often most challenging — skills a dog can learn.
Our Advanced Recall Course is designed for dogs who already have a recall cue and are ready to strengthen reliability around real-world distractions using safe, structured, and force-free training methods.
This three-week course focuses on developing a practical, reliable everyday recall, beginning with strong foundations and progressing carefully as each dog is ready.
Over three weekly 60-minute sessions, we will:
• Begin recall work on lead, progressing to long lines and off-lead where appropriate
• Gradually introduce distractions, starting with other dogs in a controlled warehouse environment
• Progress to real-world locations such as parks or off-lead areas (including beach environments) when safe and suitable
• Strengthen recall through thoughtful reinforcement, clarity, and repetition — not pressure or punishment
This course uses force-free, reward-based training and prioritises safety at every stage. While recall reliability will improve, it is important to understand that no dog becomes completely “bomb-proof” in three weeks. Appropriate management, lead use, and ongoing practice remain essential parts of responsible dog ownership.
With classes limited to just four dogs, participants benefit from individual coaching and carefully controlled training setups.
Important Information
• Dogs must already have an established recall cue
• This course is not suitable for reactive dogs
• All training equipment will be provided in Week 1
• For Weeks 2 and 3, clients will be guided on selecting and bringing appropriate high-value reinforcement
This is a stand-alone course and is separate from our Advanced Obedience pathway.
Reactivity Foundations Course
For dogs 7 months and up | Maximum 4 dogs | $210 per dog
Living with a reactive dog can be challenging — and you are not alone.
Our Reactivity Foundations Course is designed to support dogs and handlers working through all types and levels of reactivity in a safe, structured, and force-free environment. The focus is on helping dogs feel safer while equipping handlers with practical management and behaviour modification skills they can apply in everyday life.
This three-week course runs for 60 minutes per session and is limited to just three dogs, allowing for careful setups, increased working distance, and individual support.
Throughout the course, we will:
• Work fully on leash using secure leads and appropriately fitted collars or harnesses
• Begin in a controlled indoor environment and gradually progress outdoors and toward triggers as dogs are ready
• Address a variety of triggers, including dogs, people, and environmental factors
• Teach both practical management strategies and behaviour modification techniques
• Focus on building confidence, emotional regulation, and clearer communication between dog and handler
This course is not a quick fix, but it is a supportive and effective starting point for teams beginning their reactivity journey. Progress is approached thoughtfully and at the individual pace of each dog to prioritise both welfare and safety.
Important Information
• Dogs must remain on a secure lead and wear a collar or harness at all times
• Reactive dogs will be carefully managed to maintain appropriate distance and safety
• This course uses force-free, reward-based training methods only
• Owners will receive guidance on suitable reinforcement and management strategies throughout the course
Advanced Skills Course
For dogs 1 year and up | Maximum 5 dogs | $160 per dog
Take your dog’s training to the next level with our fun, engaging, and confidence-building Advanced Skills Course.
Over three weekly 60-minute sessions, dogs will learn a variety of tricks and agility-style behaviours using a hand target as a foundation to guide movement and build clear communication between dog and handler.
With classes limited to just four dogs, this small-group course provides plenty of individual coaching while still allowing dogs and handlers to work and progress at their own pace within a supportive learning environment.
Throughout the course, we will:
• Teach tricks and agility-inspired skills using positive, force-free training methods
• Build confidence, coordination, and body awareness
• Strengthen focus and handler engagement
• Develop clearer communication through targeting and reinforcement-based learning
• Encourage problem-solving and thoughtful learning in a fun, supportive setting
Training takes place both indoors and outdoors, providing varied learning experiences and helping dogs generalise their new skills across different environments.
All equipment is provided, and while no previous agility or trick training experience is required, a basic foundation of obedience is recommended.
This course is ideal for dogs who love to learn, enjoy mental and physical challenges, and thrive when given the opportunity to build new skills while having fun in a positive, reward-based environment.
Advanced Loose Lead Walking
For dogs 7 months and up | Maximum 5 dogs | $160 per dog
Walking your dog should be enjoyable—not a constant battle against pulling on the lead.
Our Advanced Loose Lead Walking Course is designed for dogs who have the basics in place and are ready to develop reliable loose lead walking around everyday distractions using safe, structured, force-free training methods.
Over three weekly 60-minute sessions, you'll learn how to build calm, connected walks through practical exercises that progress from controlled environments to real-world locations as your dog is ready.
Throughout the course, we will:
Strengthen your dog's focus and engagement while walking.
Improve loose lead walking around increasing levels of distraction.
Teach practical handling skills to prevent and reduce pulling.
Build calm decision-making and reinforcement for walking beside you.
Progress from indoor training to parks and other everyday environments.
This course uses science-based, reward-based training and focuses on creating enjoyable walks for both dogs and their owners. While you'll see significant improvement over the three weeks, loose lead walking is an ongoing skill that develops through consistency and practice.
With classes limited to just five dogs, every participant receives personalised coaching in a supportive training environment.
Important Information
Dogs should have basic training foundations and be comfortable working around other dogs.
This course is not suitable for reactive dogs.
Please bring a flat collar or harness, a standard lead (no retractable leads), and plenty of high-value food rewards.
This is a stand-alone course and can be completed independently or alongside our other advanced training programs.
